Some tips for other travelers with baby:
- Find out from the hotel if there is a grocery that sells baby food and diapers nearby. We asked this from the hotel before we packed so we just packed food that was good enough for 3 days and we found a grocery store that sells baby food. They have exotic flavors too like mango, papaya, caribbean fruit. We also bought some diapers, wipes, and bottled water there.
- Banana boat baby SPF 60 did its job really well. We walked so much under the sun and the stroller's canopy can't cover baby's legs (just his face) so his legs were always exposed to the sun, but they didn't get burned.
- The pacifier was really helpful in easing the popping of baby's ears during landing and takeoff. I've read online to give baby a bottle, but it's impossible to give him a bottle with the position the stewardess advised us to be in -- burping position with baby facing you. So the pacifier helped a lot in this case.
- Swimming diapers did its job I think. I just forgot to buy baby swimming shirts -- I didn't think he needed them.. I didn't realize he might burn if we don't cover his chest. But it wasn't really an issue for us since I don't like being under the sun too so we mostly swam around 5:30-6pm when the sun was almost setting.
- Baby liked playing in the sand with his truck and shovel so bring beach toys if you're going to the beach. He liked the feel of the sand but he never attempted to put it into his mouth which was good.
- Playtex drop-ins was a good idea especially in this vacation. We just had to wash the nipples and nipple ring and we're good to go. Don't forget to bring dishwashing liquid!
- The Chicco capri stroller that we bought just before the vacation was the perfect umbrella stroller for us! moveable canopy, lightweight, easy to open and fold, comfy and has a slight recline (baby slept really well in it during our walks).. love it!

I'm starting work next week so we're scrambling to get a nanny or daycare for baby.. We've contacted Wee Watch and we will visit 3 sites sometime next week. In the meantime, baby's godfather/uncle will babysit him until we can find a more permanent solution.

Also, if you know of a cleaning lady I can hire maybe every 2 weeks to come clean our condo, I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
